Man I can only Dream of Being With:

Wandering the streets today, running the errands of a lost soul without a telephone, I came across a man at a moment only made for me.

Here he is:

The plan of the day was to go to the Gramercy Theatre, pick up a spare ticket of the evening and meet some friends that I have not been able to get in contact with. They came to town just for this show, so I was like, "what the hell? I haven't seen them live since high school, I like their current stuff, why not?" Then I can get some hugs and kisses from far away friends all while absorbing and sending good vibes.

In any case, they were sold out, so my friends will never know the adventures that led me to not see them. But on my way, I stumbled across this location:

As I walk down the Bedford Ave. subway station, I see a man playing accordion. As always, I remove one ear of my headphones out of respect of the musician and listen.
So okay, accordion music is charming enough, but then I noticed he flowed nicely with what was playing in my other ear...

Listening,
Listening,

I played.

WHO KNEW that "Hey You" (311) can match so well with an accordion?
At that point, I let my soul dance and my happiness radiate to the dueling music- and he followed.
I stood behind a pillar because I am shy with live performances; and I danced with all parts of my body and being. I swayed and shook and giggled and enjoyed his flow with my ears that synced SO WELL. (siiigh)

Then the train came that went to the opposite direction and he stopped playing his song and jumped to the Star Wars theme for the passer-bys.
Then I jumped out from behind the pillar and made myself open, just so I can show my laughter of appreciation. I took out my camera and pointed at it. He looked away and refused to look at me until it was gone. I couldn't stop staring.... I really was in love with that moment and that syncrnization. I am STILL TALKING ABOUT IT.

In any case, I liked it. It was lovely.

To the Renegade Accordion Man...
