{{ thank you yoga for my flexibility.}}
The only relevant issue with this story has to do with consciousness. When I had hit the ground, my body had shut down in shock. All that was present was my mind, which made me think I was completely fine, until I looked "down" which was really to the left, and saw my disfigured body. (oh how I wish someone took a picture of my formation) I wiggled and struggled to move my body to regain circulation, all I could here were people yelling for me to stay still.
I ended up on my back and performed a quick body check. I ran my energy through all crevices and areas of my body to make sure it was all still there and aware. The one of the owners of the cafe kept asking me questions to make sure I was okay, knowing I was more than okay, just a little stiff, I cracked jokes about the fall, my observations of mental presence, and made sure everyone stayed as light hearted about the situation as I was. I was even cracking jokes with a part time medic that happened to be there at the time that I was blocking the bathroom, but I wouldn't listen. People appreciated me.
I also offered to take business cards with me to the hospital to advertise such happy employees. Everything is fine. I have a lot of drugs that keep me less sensitive to the pain, but nothing is completely gone.. who knew? Also I recently realized my head is really really heavy.
In that respect, on to the philosophy!!!!
So I felt that my physical body was fully intact until I saw otherwise. Meaning my remaining consciousness post-fall was only in my mind, then verified by my vision.
This means that the mind has much more control than just the awareness of the physical body, it makes the physical body (that I apparently create in its space) aware, It also follows streams of thought, which is seemingly infinite, and cyclical. But the part that I do not understand is how I can, at times, be so aware of certain parts of the body, being aware of certain chakras and parts and pieces of muscles and joints, but not knowing they are not functioning unless i see them not moving?
The only explanation I can think of deals with phantom limbs and sensory nerves, but that seems to much of a physical realm response. but I would rather stay safe only acknowledging this realm than others.
all for the moment
